Tight Knit is an independent Art/Craft Event based in Historic Downtown Troy, NY. Founded in 2008 by Rachel Wrightson Naylor (Troy Night Out Vacant Storefront Artist Project/ How to Rebuild Zine) and Zhenelle Falk (Born Ready Zine/ Destroy, NY), this event showcases a collection of handmade goods by artists and crafters from throughout the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, Berkshires and Southern Vermont.

Tight Knit’s 2008 Holiday Event boasted 50 vendors and welcomed hundreds of visitors and shoppers over 2 days. The 2009 Spring/Summer season saw Tight Knit expand to a weekly open-air market every Saturday during June, July and August in Troy’s beautiful downtown area. Tight Knit is thrilled to be a part of what has been dubbed “Market Saturdays” in Downtown Troy, where in addition to shopping Tight Knit for one-of–a-kind handmade items, you can visit the fabulous Troy Waterfront Farmer’s Market for the best and most diverse produce in the region, and visit the great variety of boutiques and shops on Troy’s historic city streets. Tight Knit's Winter Market is located inside the Troy Atrium at 3rd and Fulton, joining the Troy Waterfront Farmer's Market in their Winter home. The Winter Market runs from November-February.
